Customer used to do machining on the forged block to make key component for melt pump used for plastic injection machinery, which caused too much time and machining cost. Telida made proposal to build the material by casting, saving the lead time on machining by 50% and bringing the cost down by 45%. And the modification in technique turned out to make no different in the performance with the components machined out of forged block. 

Welding dozens of components together into a housing is a time consuming task and less economical. Working with customers’ engineers and designer, we exceeded in conversion from fabrication parts into casting and machining one. The innovative change saved customer a half million dollars a year and cut the unit lead time by 75%. We are really proud of ourselves for the capability and courage to challenge the traditional method to better serve customers.
